We exist to make serious organizations more capable. Everything else follows from that.
Context is not configuration.
Generic software scales by treating organizations as interchangeable. They are not. Your data, people, systems, policies, history and ambition determine what the technology must become. Fenori begins there.
Fenori Technologies is the trading name of Fenori IO AS, working from New York and Greater Oslo. The team stays small by intent: the people who take on a problem are the people who build the system.

We did not start Fenori because serious institutions needed another technology vendor.
We started Fenori because the economics of enterprise software and the reality of serious institutions have moved too far apart.
A conventional software company must standardize. It must turn institutional differences into configuration, sell the same underlying product repeatedly, and protect the boundaries of its category. That model is rational for the vendor. It is not always rational for the institution.
The most consequential problems do not respect product categories. They cross data, policy, operations, technology, history, risk and human judgment. The institution is then left responsible for assembling a coherent outcome from systems that were never responsible for the whole.
Fenori is built around a different premise. We begin with the institution and accept that the correct system may not yet exist. We use what already works, build across it, and engineer what is missing. We do not begin with AI, a platform or a predetermined architecture. We begin with the capability the institution needs to possess.
The institution defines that outcome. Fenori does not substitute its judgment for the mandate, obligations or authority of the institutions it serves. But as a firm, we are not neutral about whether important institutions are capable.
Our mission is to build technology that makes serious institutions stronger and, through them, improves the systems on which society depends.

Fenori is a team from computer science and quantitative backgrounds, with years spent building technology and AI systems for hedge funds. That is where we learned what serious technology has to survive: real capital, real constraints, and real consequence when a system is wrong.
Engineers who build systems meant to run in production for years.
People who read risk, data and models the way the organization does.
Quantitative systems where model behavior, performance, failure conditions and operational risk had to be measured continuously.
We have built for people who cannot afford to be told a system works. They have to see it.
Fenori is a small team working directly with serious organizations on problems that matter. The work is close to the customer, close to production and close to consequence. No open roles are listed right now; we hire deliberately. If you believe you should be part of building Fenori, write and tell us why.

The next generation of serious technology will be built around the organization. Inside it. Under its control.
